Recently, Crow Holdings celebrated the completion of a multi-year renovation and construction project on the campus of Old Parkland. Inspired by the Jeffersonian architecture found throughout Virginia, the nine (going on ten) buildings are luxuriously appointed with art and historic memorabilia, while the rich history of the grounds themselves have preserved and adapted to the modern needs of business.
As such, the brand and all creative assets developed needed to feel equally historic and significant. A campus seal full of rich symbolism was created first, followed by a family of shield designs, one for each building. We then created custom symbols for a variety of on-campus amenities.
Named after the historic Boston tavern frequented by Paul Revere and John Hancock, The Green Dragon is a private restaurant located in the heart of Old Parkland’s business campus.
Located beneath The Pavilion, the Debate Chamber serves as a private event space for collegiate debates, policy meetings and corporate presentations. Anchored by a Great Horned Owl with its wings spread, the seal highlights the virtues and pillars of civil discourse and the sharing of ideals. A dimensional sculpture of the seal hangs above the main doorway greeting people as they enter, while column capitals and black leather desk pads also showcase the seal throughout the interior of the Chamber.
