Founded in 1953 as a hub for North Texas giving, the Communities Foundation of Texas (CFT) was looking to reinvigorate their brand when we first met with them in 2012.
During our discovery process, we learned that they were commonly referred to by their donors as “Communities,” so we amplified that word within the hierarchy of their logo. A multicolored star that spoke to their Texas heritage replaced their previous mark, with different colored ribbons representing their myriad initiatives. From building signage to business cards, ad campaigns to annual reports, and everything in between, we contemporized their brand in meaningful, personal and positive ways, ultimately helping them connect with a new generation of philanthropists.
Our most recent campaign, “Deep in the Heart of Giving” highlights different donors and the causes they hold closest to their hearts.
