We don’t have a ton of hard and fast rules here, but there are some things we try to live by:

Work hard. Have fun. Be nice. Ask what else. Make it smart. Make it pretty. Be uncomfortable. Push yourself. Laugh. Draw. Meet in person. Pick up the phone. Have a life. Do the dishes. Don’t be a jerk. Make your free throws. Do your homework. Respect your teammates. Listen. Do it when it doesn't matter. Especially when it doesn’t matter. Ask questions. Check your spelling. Check your ego.

Be positive.

Leadership

Brian Owens
Partner
Brian is the rare creative mind that’s equally comfortable discussing strategy and talking logos. It’s probably because he first worked at Andersen Consulting prior to finding his true calling as a designer. His “second” career was launched at RBMM, the identity and design arm of The Richards Group, where he served as managing principal prior to leaving to cofound O&H. His work has appeared in most major award annuals and he has judged the Communication Arts and One Show Design Competitions. He’s an avid calligrapher, fluent in Spanish and likes to fish as often as he can. But if you ask him, he’ll tell you that his family with his wife and four daughters is his proudest achievement.
Travis Hopper
Partner
Some people prefer right-brained pursuits; others lean to the left. Travis never wanted to choose between the two, so he carved a career doing both. He got his start satiating his left brain by leading account teams, cultivating client relationships and developing strategy at The Richards Group. From large organizations to small brands, Travis thrived on the chance to translate research and insight into strategies that worked. His teams delivered big returns, growth across international barriers and consistently lifted sales. Outside of the office, Travis keeps his right brain fit by singing and playing with his band, Elkhart, gardening, restoring a mid-century home with his wife, Desiree, and entertaining their two young children.

Our Space

We office on the top floor of an iconic mid-century office building. The light is great, the place has character. It’s a great spot to have a meeting. It’s an even better place to have a beer.
